INGREDIENTS:
1 cup precooked turkey sausage
1/4 of a puff pastry sheet
1 tbsp light butter
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped carrots
1 tbsp all purpose flour
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 egg
INSTRUCTIONS:
Cut a circle out of your puff pastry. Place both of your pieces of puff pastry on a baking sheet and bake at 425 for about 10 minutes. While the puff pastry is cooking, melt 1 tbsp light butter and add in your onions, carrots, and celery. Sprinkle in your all purpose flour, and stir. Once its cooked off slowly add in your milk a bit at a time. Once thickened, add in your turkey sausage. Pour the mixture into an oven safe dish, and place your cut out puffed pastry on top, pressing down slightly. Crack your egg in the hold and bake again until the egg whites are set!
