Cheesy Broccoli Rice & Baked Chicken

First off, let's start with ingredients;

INGREDIENTS:
Chicken leg quarter
Garlic parmesan chicken seasoning packet
1 tbsp light butter
1/2 cup long grain white rice
1 cup chicken broth
Small package frozen broccoli
1 Rico’s nacho cheese sauce cup
1 chicken bouillon cube
1 can cream of chicken soup
Dash of turmeric
Salt and pepper to taste

ALSO USED:
Oven bag

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Shake 1 tbsp of flour around the inside of the oven bag. Pat the chicken dry with a paper towel. Season with salt, pepper and the garlic Parmesan seasoning. Close the oven bag with a twist tie and bake in the oven in an oven safe dish until cooked through; I cooked mine about 75 minutes.

While the chicken is in the oven, begin to cook your rice. Melt 1 tbsp light butter in a deep saucepan. Add rice and stir over medium heat until the rice gets a little color. Add chicken broth, chicken bouillon, and frozen broccoli and cover - stir occasionally until the broth is all soaked up and the rice is cooked through. Add in your cream of chicken soup, cheese sauce, turmeric, salt, and pepper and stir until combined and heated through.

THATS IT. I swear it looks and tastes like something off of food network I was way too excited about it even though I couldn’t even finish it all.
