copycat texas roadhouse caesar salad

A quick and easy caesar salad that doesn’t involve anchovies or anchovies paste!

DRESSING INGREDIENTS:
1 head of romaine
1/4 cup light mayo
2 tbsp low-fat buttermilk
1 tbsp dry ranch seasoning
1/2 tsp minced garlic
1/4 cup powdered parmesan cheese
2 tbsp light italian dressing
salt and pepper

CROUTON INGREDIENTS:
1 brioche hot dog bun
garlic powder
salt and pepper
1 tbsp powdered parmesan
non-stick spray

INSTRUCTIONS:
Cut up your hot dog bun into crouton sized cubes (about 30). You can use whatever bread or buns you have, that is just what I had! Spray the bread chunks with non-stick spray and coat with garlic powder, pepper, and parmesan. Bake at 400 degrees for 5-15 minutes depending how crunchy you like the. Flip them over every few minutes or so! Combine the dressing ingredients and chop up your romaine. Toss together and garnish with the croutons and extra grated parmesan.
